Sefton Labour's mismanagement of our beloved pier has now led to a complete closure whilst repairs are undertaken, a move that will damage tourism and business in our town.
Labour cannot say when the pier will be re-opened. They cannot give a solid cost of the repairs.
Enough is enough. With better management, this situation could have been avoided.
The facts are clear: Our pier is not safe in Labour's hands.
Sefton Labour have chosen to focus on getting more money for Bootle whilst our town’s heritage is left to fall into disrepair.
